School  bus camera bill H.4940 signed into law

by Gov. Maura Healey on 1/10/25

Massachusetts cities/towns can now put stop-arm cameras on their school buses to capture illegal passing violations. 

This new law enforcement tool allows local police to use video evidence to issue citations to offenders of the existing no passing law.  If your city or town would like more information or help implementing the camera program,  please contact Maria Scheri at: stopschoolbuspassing@gmail.com
