“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”

- Mahatma Gandhi

To advance school bus safety across Massachusetts, S.T.O.P. partners with communities through grassroots initiatives and professionally as Stop for Safety Alliance, LLC. To ensure sustainability, our specialized programs are fee-based. However, we gladly adjust our project scope to fit your available budget or collaborate with you to secure external funding.

STOP FOR SAFETY EDUCATION TABLE

"Promise for a Prize" is our signature safety education activity designed to drive community engagement.

Students promise to pay attention when crossing the street, and when embarking and disembarking school buses.  Motorists promise to pay attention and stop when approaching school zones and school buses.

Everyone gets a prize!

How it work

"Promise for a Prize" is our signature safety education activity designed to drive community engagement.

Students promise to pay attention when crossing the street, and when embarking and disembarking school buses.  Motorists promise to pay attention and stop when approaching school zones and school buses.

Everyone gets a prize!

How it works:

We handle everything from setup to engagement. We show up fully equipped with our own table, handouts, and prizes. You provide us with a great spot, and we’ll take care of the rest!

Why it works:

By pairing a physical promise with a tangible reward, we are securing a commitment – by saying it out loud, we transform a passive act (ie: grabbing a sticker off the table) into active participation and conversation increasing the likelihood of compliance.

How it Works:

Together we curate a monthly digital newsletter by managing the editorial process and professional layout to disseminate to parents/guardians, staff, and community members.

Why it Works:

Consistent engagement with a safety-themed newsletter not only serves as a reminder to practice safer habits, but it also builds a network of individuals who are likely to join you in your mission by volunteering at events, providing resources or sharing your message.

Additionally, the newsletter can build on your safety activities by including interactive elements ie: contests, videos, a downloadable safety certificate for home use, surveys, sign-up forms etc.
